Our values
What we offer
All services are funded through your NDIS Capacity Building or Core Supports budget and available to plan-managed and self-managed participants. We'll help you understand which service fits your plan before we start.
One-on-one therapeutic support for adults and children living with psychosocial disability, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. Delivered with warmth, clinical rigour, and a deep understanding of how mental health intersects with daily life.
Capacity BuildingStrategic, goal-oriented coaching designed specifically for participants with a primary psychosocial disability. We work alongside you to build capacity, strengthen recovery, and help you navigate your NDIS journey with confidence.
Capacity BuildingPractical, in-person support for daily living, community participation, and social engagement — delivered by workers with genuine mental health awareness and a recovery-focused approach.
Core SupportsMany participants benefit from both Recovery Coaching and Counselling simultaneously — they're funded from the same budget but serve different purposes. We'll help structure the right combination for your specific goals and plan.

Getting started
We know that starting with a new provider can feel overwhelming. Here's what the process actually looks like — no jargon, no surprises.
Reach out by phone, email, or through our contact form. We aim to respond within one business day — usually sooner. You're welcome to have a support coordinator, family member, or advocate contact us on your behalf.
A free 15–20 minute conversation to understand your situation, confirm your plan type and funding, and make sure we're the right fit. No pressure — this is about you making an informed decision.
We'll prepare a clear service agreement outlining exactly what will be delivered, at what cost, and on what terms. You'll have time to read it, ask questions, and have someone review it with you before signing.
We book your first appointment at a time and place that works for you — in person or via telehealth. Your plan manager handles payments directly with us. You focus on your goals.
We understand what matters to referrers: prompt responses, proper documentation, consistent quality, and a provider who won't disappear after the first session. Here's what we commit to.
Every referral receives a prompt, professional response. We'll confirm receipt and next steps immediately.
Session notes maintained to NDIS standard — available to coordinators on request with participant consent.
All counselling and recovery coaching delivered by or under the supervision of our Masters-credentialled, PACFA-registered practitioner.
Our lead practitioner has worked directly as a disability support worker — we understand participant experience, not just theory.
Clean, correctly coded NDIS invoices submitted within 48 hours of each session. No chasing, no errors.
The fastest way to refer is a brief email or call. We'll take it from there.
If you don't see your question answered here, call or email us — there's no such thing as a question that's too small.
Ask us directlyYes — if your plan includes Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living funding and you are plan-managed or self-managed. We can help you check your plan before committing to anything. If your plan doesn't currently include this budget, a Support Coordinator or LAC can assist you to request it at your next plan review.
Counselling is therapeutic — it works through emotional and psychological challenges using clinical approaches. Recovery Coaching is strategic — it helps you understand your mental health condition, build your capacity to manage it, and navigate your NDIS plan and supports. Both are funded separately and many participants benefit from both simultaneously.
Yes — Waypoint Wellbeing provides services for children, adolescents, families, and adults. We tailor our approach to be age-appropriate and family-inclusive wherever that supports the best outcomes. If you're enquiring on behalf of a child or young person, please reach out and we'll discuss the most appropriate pathway together.
Yes — all counselling and recovery coaching services are available via telehealth (Zoom or an agreed platform), in person in Adelaide, or a combination of both. Many participants find the flexibility of telehealth valuable, particularly on difficult days. There is no difference in quality or billing between telehealth and in-person appointments.
We service Adelaide metro and surrounding areas for in-person appointments, and all of South Australia via telehealth. If you're unsure whether we cover your area, just ask — we'll be upfront about it.
We follow the NDIS standard cancellation policy — if you give us at least 2 clear business days' notice, there's no charge. Cancellations with less notice may incur the full session fee, which is charged to your NDIS plan (not out of pocket). Life happens — we deal with this case by case and always with common sense.
Currently we accept plan-managed and self-managed participants. If you're agency-managed (NDIA-managed) and want to access our services, speak with your LAC or Support Coordinator about switching to plan management — this is often straightforward and gives you more choice in providers.
That's exactly what our free 15-minute intake conversation is for. There's no obligation after that call, and we'll be honest if we think someone else might serve you better. The most important thing is that you end up with support that actually works for you.
